Maple Arrow Accounting
& Startup Services
Welcome - you’re in the right place!
Hi there, and welcome!
If numbers, bookkeeping, or “accountant talk” have ever made your eyes glaze over—you’re not alone. Around here, we believe financials should make sense, feel approachable, and even be a little fun (yes, really!).
I’m a small-town bookkeeper based right here in Delton, Michigan, working with small businesses, startups, nonprofits, and individuals who want clarity—not confusion—when it comes to their money. My approach is simple: plain English, real conversations, and support that actually fits you.
Whether you want someone to take bookkeeping completely off your plate, or you just want help understanding QuickBooks so you can confidently do it yourself, you’re welcome here. Hiring an accountant or bookkeeper isn’t for everyone—or every budget—and that’s okay. I offer one-on-one trainings, workshops, and hands-on guidance so you can get the most out of your time and your data, no matter what level of support you need.
My office door is always open—literally and figuratively. You’ll always find a friendly face here (and very likely Hunter, my chocolate lab, who takes his greeting duties seriously 🐾). Beyond accounting, I also offer startup services, document shredding, notary services, and practical workshops designed to help you feel more confident and in control.
Have questions? Unsure where to start? Curious if we’re a good fit?
Please reach out. That’s why I’m here—to help, in whatever way that looks like for you.
Take a look around, get comfortable, and when you’re ready—I’d love to meet you.

Important Michigan Notary Information
To ensure everything is handled correctly and in compliance with Michigan notary laws, please note:
A notary cannot explain or give legal advice about the contents of a document
A notary cannot tell you what type of notarization you need—that must be determined before your appointment
Documents must be signed willingly and with full understanding by all parties
Incomplete documents cannot be notarized
Notarization verifies identity and signature, not the legality or accuracy of the document itself
The goal is to make sure your documents are properly executed and accepted—while keeping the process simple, professional, and stress-free.

My Story
Hi, I’m Amber—and I promise I don’t speak in “accountant” unless absolutely necessary.
For the past 18 years, I’ve worked across multiple industries in the accounting world, building a practical, well-rounded skill set that ultimately led me to open Maple Arrow Accounting. From mortgage servicing and construction to restaurants, hotels, and spas, I’ve seen how different businesses operate behind the scenes—and where things most often get confusing, stressful, or overlooked.
What sets me apart isn’t just experience—it’s how I translate it.
I believe good bookkeeping isn’t about impressing you with jargon or complicated reports. It’s about helping you understand what your numbers are actually telling you, so you can make confident decisions for your business. That belief is what led me to create hands-on workshops, one-on-one trainings, and approachable systems that meet you where you are—whether you want full support or just want to learn how to do things better yourself.
I’m proudly based in Delton, Michigan, and my office reflects the kind of work I do: welcoming, practical, and judgment-free. There’s usually a friendly face waiting to greet you—often my chocolate lab, Hunter—and the coffee is always on. Around here, questions are encouraged, learning is collaborative, and numbers don’t have to be intimidating.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my 14-year-old son, my 18-year-old Shih-Tzu (semi-retired, but still in charge), and my 8-year-old chocolate lab. I love being outdoors— hiking trails, kayaking or farm animals—and I’m always up for a DIY project, trying a new restaurant, or watching a good Hallmark movie.
Horses have a special place in my life, so serving on the board of a therapeutic horseback riding nonprofit and volunteering there whenever I can feels like a natural extension of who I am—both personally and professionally.
If you’re looking for someone who knows their stuff and knows how to explain it in a way that actually sticks—you’re in the right place..

Absolutely. You don’t need to know what to ask for. We’ll talk through what’s going on, what’s been frustrating, and what kind of support would actually be helpful—then go from there.
Where are you located?
